Kennedy walked into the barn office a little flustered from the move in but quickly got her bearings and went to sign up for lessons. She took them each year to try to step up her game in the competition. She found the level 3 sheet and signed up her and Midas.
She was about to leave when she thought of how her brother had made her so made for being late to pick up Pete, his horse. So she picked up the level 1 sheet and signed Aiden's name, ha she thought he will be relearning how to walk for a week!

Christine hurried into the office quickly, she was already late to meet Aiden. She'd remembered to sign herself up for some lessons and began to scan the walls for the level 4 sheet. It was of course one of the last ones and she pulled a blue pen from the desk. Scribbling hers and her horses name on the top line. By the looks of it only two people had signed up... Kennedy Walker and Aiden Walker. She didn't know he had a sister, well at least she did now. Setting down the pen on the smooth table she jogged out of the room, at last ready to see Aiden.
You see a track of hoof prints in the earth. They are leading towards the vail of trees that enclose the yard. Although they're old you know immediately that these are the track of a wild horse.
Secret word: Jump

Jake walked into the office quietly and moved towards the papers. He signed his name on the level one sheet and turned to leave. Though Imp had already had some jumping training, he wanted to start from the beginning with her.

`` `` `` Meredith pulled up onto the gravel driveway. No dust was spat up behind her. A doing of the unfortunate amount of rain this place had beaten down on it. Most of the rain had just washed away, but she noted how wet everything appeared. She loved the rain, for the majority of the time. But not when it interfered and made events nearly impossible to complete. But.....that was the price of what she did. Her mind skittered back to the joyful thought of the fact that she would now be studying as a vet-tech. Something she'd been wanting to do her entire life. Pulling into an empty parking space, she relaxed. She hated how huge the motor to her car was, it never seemed to bother the horses, but there would always be a first. Cutting the engine, she stepped out of the car, closing the door quietly.
A burst of shockingly cold air hit her. The wind weaving through her untidy golden hair. Shaking it back, she tied it up into a sloppy pony tail, using one of her hair-ties which was constantly kept around her wrist. Walking across the parking-lot, she stepped into the warm horsey smelling barn. She loved the way stables smelled. Fresh-cut hay and grain, and the horses in general. Manure and all. It wouldn't be right without it. Walking down the well-lit aisle, she searched around for a lesson sign-up sheet. Just a yearly thing she did. Finally managing to get her hands on one, she filled in all of the necessary blanks, finishing up with writing a sloppy '6' in the level rating box, along with her signature.
With a relaxed sigh, she set down the filled out form, heading down a separate aisle, to see how her boy was doing. "Hey Buddy...." she said, as her grey andalusian stuck his nose out of the stall. She laughed, knowing the horse never did that, he was asleep most of the time, either that or eating. He wasn't one to greet people....Rubbing the dark pigment on his nose, she turned her head over her should, when she heard human footsteps, along with a horses, getting close to her. "Hi." she greeted. ooc|this is an open post, so anyone is welcome! ;D i don't bite!

OOC: I think the majority of this post should be moved to a barn. Just the general sign up for the lesson left here but i'm replying anyway IC: Luke walked down the isle past the office. He lad the large chocolatey bay mare behind him. He noticed the woman and nodded his head in a simple southern greeting as he always did. "Hi." he then voice putting the mar einto her stall. They had been for a nice ride and he had unsaddled her and brushed her all down. Jodie went right for the water and took a nice long drink before returning for some attention from her owner. Luke patted her head and then turned his attention back to the woman standing quite close to him. "Nice to see new faces." he said being the friendly person that he was. "I'm Luke."

`` `` `` Meredith watched this new face put his mare away. The horse was beautiful all the way around. Her confirmation was perfect--at least at a quick glance--her coat gleamed bright and clean. And the number one plus, she seemed happy to be here. Meredith smiled at the sight. "I love your horse......she's brilliant," she commented, a bit of her old accent saturating her voice. Reaching out to the mare's muzzle, she held her hand an inch or two from her warm skin, her breath was hot on her hand, just like Ares's was. Letting the mare get acquainted with her, she rubbed her velvety nose. Looking back at the stranger, "Quarter horse?" she asked, pretty sure of herself, but you never could tell with horses. With Ares for example. He had mostly Andalusian in him, but most people assumed he was Paso-fino, though Paso-fino wasn't his dominant blood-line.
"I'm Luke." the man next to her introduced. Moving her eyes from his horse, to him, she smiled, friendly. "Meredith." she said. "But call me Mere." she said quickly after pronouncing her full name. Not a name she would have chosen for herself, but, it was too stuck to her to change it now. "How long have you been riding here?" she asked, trying to fill in the silence. Though it was an honest question, since she'd never seen him around the barn. ooc|haha, probably, but........

Luke grinned at her reaction to his mare. She was a beautiful horse and well built. He smiled at the compliment. "Yeah, she's Quarter Horse all the way." he added to answer her question. Jodie sniffed the hand, and the mouthed it gently with her lips. She snorted then and left her heavy head to look around. Luke laughed a little and listened intently to her introduction. "I just arrived about a week ago and this is my first year employed at the academy, so i'm kinda new around here. Just a hand for now." He answered her question and then nodded when he finished. "Is this your first year here also?" he asked looking around a little.

`` `` `` Meredith shook her head at the ground at Luke's question. Before looked back up to him. Most people seemed like giants, compared to her. Meredith was tiny, a whopping five foot. For the most part, she enjoyed being short, a whole different view of the world than most people. But it had a tendency to inconvenience her quite often. Thinking back to his question, she began."Nah, I've been here since freshman year. Graduated early.....at 16." she said, in a matter-of-fact tone of voice. "Went to college in the Nederlands for five years, worked on getting vet ties, and now I'm here again." she said with a shrug. "I had to ship Ares over here."
She stepped over to her grey pony. Rubbing his nose, looking back to Luke, she was conscious of the fact that the pony was scratching his head up and down her side. "Hey." she said to him, laughing, while rubbing his ears and neck. His ears suddenly pricked, preoccupied but the can of rootbeer Mere had set down by his stall a little bit back, he'd seen in periphrial vision. Reaching down she picked up the brown and silver can, stepping several steps away from Ares, as he stretched his neck towards the drink, trying to reach it. "Patience is a virtue, my friend." Meredith pointed out to her greedy pony. Pouring some in her hand, she extended it towards Ares, and he lapped it up eagerly, before reaching for more. "Later." she said to him. Setting down the can out of his reach, he continued to occupy himself by stretching towards it, he tongue out of his mouth, and his weight pushing against the stall door.
Meredith looked back to Luke, rolling her eyes are Ares. "He's a big baby." she shrugged again. Pulling her iPhone out of her back jean pocket, she checked the time, with a sigh, she started. "I need to get home, I have a cage full of baby birds who need dinner. She said. "But um, want to go for a hack, or something tomorrow?" she invited, she loved trail-riding with other people and horses, much more enjoyable than doing it on your own.

Luke nodded. "Yeah, a ride tomorrow would be nice." he smiled. "See you later than." He patted his mare once more and turned to walk out of the barn. He probably should get home too. Walking off he looking around the academy and sighed. Food though good so he walked down the road trying to think of what he could eat.

Emma hurried along to the office, remembering her dad’s words. “Don’t just go riding those horses yourself. If you want to go anywhere then get a lesson.”
She knocked on the door and walked in, thinking about what she was going to say.
Emma did show jumping mainly, but also did dressage with Abbie, even though she didn’t compete. She can jump 4ft +, and can easily jump a 3ft fence. Her dad, who taught her to ride in the first place, told her that she just needs brought on do jump higher. She decided that she wanted to have a jumping lesson and Abbie, and a jumping lesson on Lily (If there was one available.)
She walked into the office, smiling, showing a set of white teeth. “Hey.” She said.

Nobody was there.
She sighed. Eyes searching the room. She saw the lesson sheets and walked over to them. “I take it you just sign up.” She told herself. She looked along the pieces of paper. She could do level five, but she had only just come here. After a moments though she decided that she would do the level 5 on Lily. And level four on Abbie.
“I hope the level four is on earlier.” She told herself.

Anastasia walked into the office. She saw a sign up sheet for lessons. She walked over looking at all the names of people and horses alike. She decided she'd start out as level one, jumping. This way she review everything she knew, since it was a new school and a long summer break. Also of course everyone knew she is very forgetful.

Alea walked into the office looking around observingly, as she walked towards the lesson board. "Ah, here we go.." she said. She didn't quite know how the level thing worked but she figured that the way she was getting along she should sign up for level 2. She had lot of experience but she wanted lessons to help her move along even faster. Plus, It would give her horse Arkan more excersize. After she had signed up for lessons at Jumping level 2, she turned and headed back to the dorms. Alea hoped that during her lessons she would also get some training in dressage disciplin, for Arkan wasn't the best at conformation and that was something Alea was intending to improve. She also needed to review her skills to sharpen them, since she hadn't ridden since she arrived.

Arya walked in and grabbed the level 3 sheet. She was more advanced but figured it would be good to go back and brush up on some of the other stuff as well. She could always jump the big stuff outside of lessons. Plus Junior wasn't sane enough yet to trust in high level lessons, he was still jumpy from his abusive past. She signed her name in cursive for jumping and walked back out.
