Aiden threw his bags down on the floor of the dorm room, and immediatley dove for one of the beds. Within minutes he was out... His last night in NYC he had partied as much as possible and couldn't stay awake if he tried. Then his iphone awoke him out of his deep sleep on the fourth ding of a text message. He sat up and read them, all from Kennedy. Pete had arrived and he had to go get him settled. "Dang it I just want to sleep!" he said, but finally he drew himself out of bed and pulled a pair of jeans to slip on

If life could get worse, Kadin would certainly be surprised. Feeling quite desolate and annoyed, He was wandering up the corridor, glancing left and right into random rooms, trying to figure out which room might possibly be his.
In usual fashion, he had lost the papers stating his dorm room and Twister's stall number, so he was kind of hoping that these people had labeled the doors with his name or something, but as of now, it looked like a lost cause. Not that he didn't enjoy boarding schools or anything, but dorm rooms could definitely be done without.
Shifting his duffel bag, he glanced into the final room of the corridor, and was disappointed to discover that, not only was this room already half-occupied, but it was also, unfortunately, labeled with his name. Had his mother forewarned the school of his stupidity or something?
More annoyed than ever, if possible, he tossed his bag into the corner and turned his attention to his roommate.
Roommate. Ugh.
He was apparently sleeping, so Kadin busied himself with unpacking his bag. Luckily for him, his mother hadn't gotten to his bag first, otherwise he might have had to buy more plastic chickens and quick-dry concrete with his own money, a dismal situation at best. The only other question was were he should hide his loot. Seeing as there wasn't much else int eh room other than the dresser, he decided that the lowest drawer would have to do and began unpacking. His EnV vibrated, probably his mother wondering what had happened to the gardener's leather gloves.
If only she knew. Those gloves would come in handy when he was setting mouse traps. He had learned that the hard way.
He was roused from his thoughts by the incessant bleeping of the other's phone. Wonderful. Not only does he sleep during the day, but he has an annoying alert beep. This was starting out wonderfully, he thought to himself, sarcastically. He wondered if his new roommate even knew he was there.

As Aiden finally awoke he glanced over and saw that his roommate had showed, he didn't recgonize him but was to tired to care all that much.
"Hey Im Aiden, whats your name?" he called politely.

Aha. So he had noticed. That was a step in the right direction, at least. He swung around abruptly, almost falling over, and bashed his head unceremoniously on the upper corner of the dresser.
Yeah. Kadin certainly knew how to make an entrance.
He winced, blinking his watering eyes and grinned weakly. 'Eh, sorry 'bout that.' He paused, rubbing the side of his head.
Of course, with his luck, he would be the one who had an egg-sized bump on the side of his head. What a moron. He glanced back at Aiden, and noticed that he hadn't actually answered his question yet.
'Oh, yeah, I'm Kadin. Nice too meet you.' He stood and walked over to offer his hand to the other, then decided that it was probably his turn to start the conversation. 'So, do you have a horse here?' Stupid question. Didn't everyone have a horse here? Mentally, he awarded himself a kick for his stupidity. Ah well, what's said is done, I suppose. [ooc] LOL. sorry about the sarcasm, that's just the way he is. xD[/blockquote]

Aiden thought it was strange when his new roomie hit his head, but he was too tired and wanted a good relationship with his new roomie too much to laugh at him. The question was odd, but then a light bulb went off in his head.
"nuts. i mean yeah I do have a horse here, Pete and he just arrived I gotta go get him settled. Im so sorry we didn't have more time to talk, catch ya later Kadin." he called as he ran out of the dorm to go get his horse and face his angry sister.
