After Kennedy watch Luke take his horse out for a ride, she decided it was time to get Midas straight into training. In NYC she always was bad about letting Midas have too much time off, and too many trail rides which didn't do either of them any favors come the school year. She led Midas to to the cross ties and lugged out her Pessoa Legacy saddle along with her custom Sunny Bridge Academy pad with Midas' name in gold thread over to the stallion. The golden stallion tipped his ears listening to Kennedy tack him up. She placed her pad and saddle on his back and delicetly tighned the girth, if she was too tough she knew her stallion would begin to buck. She then pulled on his Nona Garson bridle and attached his martingale, after placing his brushing boots on she was ready to go.
In the ring Kennedy saw that a few oxers and verticals were set up in the arena, this made her happy. Knowing that she didn't have to set any up. She mounted Midas and slowly began to warm him up. She usually lunged him first but she was feeling spunky enough to ride out the first few bucks. The golden horse threw a couple harmless kicks as she began trotting figure eights. After about twenty minutes Kennedy pushed Midas into a canter towards one of the oxers. Her fingers tightened as she felt the rush of popping over the jump, oh how she had missed that feeling.
