Edward pulled up and put his horse in a stall. He stopped and looked around for someone.

| How did we get here? Meredith pulled up along the black road in her truck, her trailer following behind just as it should, carrying her grey Andalusian. She was transferring to another barn area, boarding with her students, rather than the other instructors. Throwing the truck into park, when she'd stopped in front of her horse's new home. Hopping out of the truck, she slammed the door shut, hurrying around to the back of the trailer, she unhitched the ramp, letting it slowly drop to the ground. Ares swung around, walked towards her, his halter attached to a lead rope, which was draped over his back. Walking down the hind ramp, Meredith grabbed his lead rope, not bothering to fold it, instead, she simply let it continue to hang.
Leading the grey pony down a small slope, they entered the rubber-matted barn, finding an empty stall. Spotting one, Meredith let go of the robe, but Ares stayed by her side, following her, neck stretch out, to the new stall. Unsnapping the lead, once Ares was completely inside the box-stall, she slid the door shut. Draping the lead over her shoulder, she looked around, spotting an unfamiliar male face she'd never seen before. She stared at him, for maybe thirty seconds, before looking back to Ares, still staring at him out of her peripheral vision.
After a minute or two, she thought she should probably introduce herself. Though she wasn't sure whether he was going to be one of her students or not. Walking across the aisle to him, she smiled. "Hi." she greeted. "I'm Meredith." she said, still walking towards him. Stopping, she began again, meeting his gaze, or she meant to, but her jaw suddenly dropped, hopefully not noticeably, but she couldn't help it. This stranger was....inhumanly attractive. Loosing her train of thought, she attempted to unscatter it. "I haven't seen you around before......did you just arrive here?" she questioned curiously. Trying to keep her voice even.

Emma walked down the barn, and saw the new horse. Wait… she had seen him from somewhere… Hey! That Meredith’s horse!
“Hey Meredith.” Emma said, not noticing the new lad. “I though you were an instructor… Not a student?”

| How did we get here? Meredith turned around, when she heard a new, but familiar voice. She smiled. "Hey Kiddo!" she greeted. She didn't mean 'kiddo', as if she were calling Emma a kid, Meredith called everyone that, old men who were 50 years older than that, her mom, her dad, her older brother. Quite literally, everyone. Brushing several strands of hair out of her face, she answered. "Yeah, I am, but I prefer to hang out with students, rather than instructors." she answered lightly. "No better place to be." she said with another smile. "You ready to go?" she asked. "I just have to sedate Ares and we can head out." she offered, "But if you need a few more minutes, then we can wait a bit......your call." she offered again.

“No no.” Emma smiled back. I’m already to go!”
She walked into stall no.10 to get her mare.

Just as she walked into the stall, she noticed the new boy.
“Oh, hey.” She said, as she undid Lily’s throat lash. “I don’t think we’ve met. I’m Emma. You can call me what you like, Emz, Emma, whatever floats you’re boat.”

“So, where we going?” Emma asked. “Show jumping, right?”
By this time Emma was all ready to go. She was standing outside the stable, holding her mare, who was standing with her front legs outside the door.
“I’m gonna just jump on. Is that ok with you?” She asked, looking round at Meredith. “I’ll get on over on the mounting block. I’ll start walking round the yard here, but I’ll wait for you. Once you’re on we’ll ride down, right?”
Emma walked Lily out of the stable, letting go of the reins and giving her a pat on the neck. She walked the mare to the mounting block then asked her to stand, climbing up onto it.
She slipped her foot in the safety stirrup (Which she ran down in the stable) Gathered her reins, & grabbed onto the pommel of the saddle. She jumped up, swinging her leg over and right into the stirrup on the other side.
She nudged the mare with her heels, asking her forward and turning her to face the barn. She let the reins drop onto Lily’s neck, letting her stretch before they started. She lifted her leg and pulled up the saddle flap to do up her girth, pulling it up and smiling at Meredith. She put the buckle in its new place and let the saddle flap drop, sliding her leg back into place. She lent down, feeling the girth to see if it was ok, and it seemed like it was fine.
Emma gathered her reins, squeezing her mare’s sides, turning her a circle before returning the mare to her place. She started to squeeze down the rein, asking Lily onto the bit. Lily came into the bit nicely, but unlike Abbie, who went straight into the bit, had to be asked first, for she would rather just hold her head up high.
Emma looked back at Meredith, to see if her was ready. She stood up in her stirrups, waiting for her.
* Btw, you can make the new thread if you want. I though you'd like to choose where you want to go (to the indoor arena, outdoor or whatever ;D) It's up to you.
