Christine was so excited she had forgot all about the fiasco with Aiden (for now that is). Apollo, her sister's horse was arriving at any time. The great big teddy bear she had come to love a few months before. She looked down at her phone, 3:30pm it said, exactly. She was sitting on an up turned barrow, who's it was she had no idea but was rather comfortable. The distant rumbling of the familiar black lorry filled the air around her. Soon enough the shinning black horse lorry pulled into the academy, in clear view of Christine. Grinding to a stop the hand who worked part tie on her farm jumped out. He gave a quick wave and a smile before joging around to the back.
The heavy ramp opened, the black and white gelding stood quietly. Not eating or sleeping just standing. He'd obviously been sedated for the trip and was feeling it. Christine clucked her tounge. His ear spinned followed by a large face, half covered by his long black fletlock.
He was soon rambling down the ramp, finding his feet after the journey. Wearing his matching travel boots, blanket and fleeced halter, he looked smart and a stunner as always. He lay his heavy head on her shoulder, she swung the lead rope oer his back, he wasn't going anywhere. Following like a dog he acted as obediant as ever, following his rider into the barn aisle.
