The rein staightened as the Gelding moved into canter. Christine on one end and her new horse Apollo on the other. He bouced playfully, kicking up the dirt with a happy buck. He hadn't been ridden yet, by her or her sister so she was trying to get an idea before mounting. She clicked her tougne as he slowed. His long mane and fletlock flowed out behind him, creating angelic waves in the early morning light.
The day was starting out to be a fine one, warm with clear blue skies. One thing that would make it even better would be if Aiden was there, but, she hadn't seen him for a day or two since they'd last talked. It was strange, it was almost if he was avoiding her. They'd just made up so she thought it'd be unlikely, but it still made her worry. Coming to mention it she hadn't seen many people around, the odd student riding and obviously the instructors. Maybe they had all gone home for a week or something, she should proberly go and see her sister but didn't really have time with the show coming up.
Apollo cantered beautifully now he'd rid himself of the excess energy. She smiled at the sight, his white and black coat with the gorgeous white feathers. Then of course, who could forget his mane and tail. Her sister had definately made a good choice with him.
Deamon was still in his stable, proberly destroying something or other. Christine hadn't ridden him in two days and he was getting really figgety. She would ride him after she was done with Apollo. Maybe she could raise the bar a little since he had so much energy, it was likely he'd risk it.
