Alea jogged into the barn running right to Arkan's stall. "Hey boy!" She went to grab her grooming kit and dropped it in fron tof the stall. The chestnut gelding was all jittery this morening for he hadn't had his morning feed yet. It was still barely light outside anyways, and Alea liked to feed Arkan when the sun was above the trees. It was just something that worked for her. "We ain't going to the crossties today, Arkin. I'm taking you to the warm-up arena to lunge." She grabbed a curry from the kit and started working her way aroun Arkan, next was a dandy brush, and then a wet sponge, careful to get his main points. She picked out his hooves and then started wrapping his forelegs with green wraps, the exact neon style and coloring that his hatler carried. Alea never really cared but his lead line and halter didn't really match. His hatler was deep emerald green, neon color, and it was synthetic, yet the lead line was light-house colored. It spiraled a black and white checked coloring and was not as bright and neon flavored.
"There ya go buddy!" She then packed up the supplies and took them back to her box in the tack room, you could call it a locker if you want but to Alea it was mmore of a big box. She grabbed a purple lunge line, "What matching colors!". She shut her tack box and headed for Arkan's stall once again. Apon reaching him she entered his stall and slid his halter and lead on him. She would replace the lead line with the longe once inside the ring for safety reasons. The stall net was unclipped and the pair led their way out, Arkan obviously showing his stuff as he trotted along beside his overpleased owner.
