`` `` `` Meredith led her gray pony through the brightly sunlit aisles. Finding the stall her stallion had been assigned. She'd been keeping him with her parents for a while now, but had just flown him in from the Nederlands. She had to sedate him for the entire trip, the plane field had gotten him too wound up and nervous. He dragged his feet slightly, his nose nearly to the ground in drousyiness. She laughed lightly. "Don't fall asleep on me bud. We're almost there!" she laughed again. She had to give him a huge dose to finally calm him down, and to her surprise, it actually worked, it never had before.
Meredith stopped at the closed stall door, Ares needing no invitation, as he was dead on his feet, as it seemed. She slid the well built door open, hauling her exhausted horse into the well proportioned box-stall. Not taking off his halter, she unsnapped the cotton lead-rope, hanging it on one of the three hooks, latched on her stall. Sliding the stall door shut, she proceeded to get two buckets of water for him, as well as several flakes of hay. Completing her first task without any surprises, she continued on to get some hay. Opening the door to the hay loft, she climbed up the ladder, only to find that is was empty. She puckered her eyebrows. Where was it all. Out in the field maybe? Kate would know.....if only she knew where she was....."Hmmm...." she said aloud to herself.

Kate clapped her hands together, sending dust flying into the air. It was surprisingly warm and the barns got pretty musty so she was making sure the windows were open. Suddenly a new horse caught her eye. Taking a closer look he looked more familiar, Ares. That ment Meredith was back. A quick pang of excitment shot through her stomach. "Meredith?" she called.
