The smell of horses, leather and straw hit Kadin full in the face as he stepped through the stable entrance. He stopped, taking it all in, before he began to stride forward again. In usual fashion, he had forgotten his stall number, but no matter. He supposed he could just choose whatever one and pay the price.
He glanced to his left and right, admiring the many magnificent horses that he assumed were all owned by the students. Unfortunately, it also seemed that many of these horses were tall, whereas his stallion, Twister was barely 15.2. He supposed he would just have to get used to being the shortest pair in the barn. Whatever.
He paused by stall three, deciding that if was going to be here all year, he might as well keep Twister in the midst of the action. It would be a good learning experience, in the very least. to the left of the stall was a bold cremello, a stallion, judging by his manners, and to the right was a pretty bay mare, who was not that tall, which was a relief to Kadin.
As he was finishing bedding the stall, the sound of an approaching horse trailer threw him off gaurd and he bolted towards the door to greet his horse. The attendant was backing his black stallion off the van, and Twister was spinning left and right in an attempt to taking in everyting at once. He whinnied shrilly when he noticed Kadin, and the very hassled looking attendant was seemingly relieved to hand over the shank to his waiting hands. Twister started when the groom shut the ramp, and jumped straight into the air when another horse nickered inside the stable.
At the very least, it would be an exciting riding year, Kadin thought wryly. He clucked and led Twister forward, watching the stallions ears flicking every direction. He pricked them up curiously when they entered the cool barn, and nickered to the cremello stallion when then approached. The cremello didn't seem to noticed, but the mare nickered back. He un-clipped the lead after leading Twister into the stall, and slid the door shut. Twister rolled immediately.
Sighing, Kadin leaned against the door, watching his horse and wishing he felt just as much at home.

Anastasia Where exactly am I going?
Anastasia started to run towards the barn. She immediately realized she might spook a horse and slowed down. She began to fast-walk to get there as fast as possible. Once inside the barn, she looked around not noticing anyone. Anastasia isn't very good at finding things, although she look exactly where Kadin was standing, she was looking around too fast and didn't process him.
Anastasia looked out to see if the trailer was here. She waited anxiously for her horse. He was after all the only one she knew here. She looked down where her watch should have been, and of course wasn't. "Darn it! Stupid watch. They probably were already here and left." Anastasia sighed, and sat on a bail of hay. She was thinking when she realized she could use her phone. "Of course, my phone." She stood up. She was wearing skinny leg jeans, the only pair of pants she had left. Her mom didn't leave the washer open, she had no choice but to wear what she had.
She slid her hand down in her tight pocket, and found nothing. Pulling her fingers out, they were all read. Anastasia found jeans uncomfortable, especially when tight. "Gah! I always forget my things." She turned around, she was no longer facing Kadin. She laughed and walked towards the last stalls. She reached number ten, started to lean on the door. She held onto one of the bars. "I think I'll use this stall. That is if, I ever get Owen." She looked around, "Where is everyone, it's creepy here."
Anastasia gets scared very easily. She was always afraid something was going to get her. She started to shiver, and goosebumps ran up her arms. The feeling of some on watching her, made her freak out.

“Emm, I’m afraid that stalls taken.” Emma walked down, smiling, leading her black mare back from getting her legs washed. “Hey, I’m Emma.” She said, stopping beside the new girl. “I’ve arrived just, you?”
She looked at the girl, wondering what was the matter. She looks a bit scared… In a way she was hoping that she was new around here, too. She hated being the new one.

"Oh, that's perfectly fine. I don't even have my horse yet. I didn't mean to take your stall." Anastasia laughed, then open the stall door. " Here you go! I'm Anastasia, and yes I just got here. It's creepy being here all alone." She smiled.

Emma laughed, walking Lily into her stable, and unclipping the leadrope from her headcoller. “Yeah.”
Lily walked up to Anastasia, and stretched her neck out to sniff her. “This is Lily, my mare. Abbie is also mine.” She point to the next stall, stable 9 at the grey Arab. “I think she’s the smallest in the yard!” Emma walked out the stables, closed the stable door and leant against it. Lily came up and put her head over the stable door, neck to Emma. She rested her head on Emma’s shoulder, and Emma stroked her face. “So you have a horse? What’s he (or she) like?”

Anastasia laughed, "I only have one horse. All my parents could afford." She shrugged, " I love Owen though. He's my baby, and of course he's not here yet. Helping my nerves isn't he?" She laughed. "Owen's good for the most part. He loves to jump! And he's really tall. I like tall horses, since I'm so short. He's really pretty, he's grey. Um nothing really special though." She smiled and looked at both of Emma's horses. Both of them were very gorgeous. " So tell me about yours!" Anastasia was very curious. Almost all horse lovers liked to hear about other horses.

“Oh, these two?” Emma laughed. “Well, I came from a stud farm, but these two didn’t. They are both show jumpers. Abbie is small, but fast. She is great for fast rounds, when Lily is more level headed.” She stroked her mares forlock.

“Their both great. They have their quirks, for sure, but hey that horses for you, isn’t it?” Lily started nuzzling her coat pocket, trying to get a polo. “Hey, you. Stop being so greedy!”

Anastasia laughed as the horse tried to get a treat. " Quirks, hmm I agree. But I think thats a human trait too." She laughed. It seemed both girls were completely unaware of Kadin, who was on the other side of the barn. " If Owen doesn't get here soon I'm gonna burst! Plus I still have to get my room." Anastasia sighed, "Funny I don't care where I sleep, just that I have my horse."
Anastasia sat down on a bail of hay, "So watcha gonna do today?"

Lily was standing with her tack on, ready to ride. “What’s you’re room?”

"Hmmm... I don't know where my room is. I have no clue." Anastasia laughed feeling very stupid. "I guess I'll find out soon enough." She stood up. " Oh great unpacking! Funnn!"
